Poetry: Disaster

Lost and confused I refuse to break,
Breathing has crawled to a painful sip.
Frost from this chill that makes me shake,
What have you done to leave me like this?

My soul taken by that fated kiss,
My world is sand as I lose my grip.
A flew through the clouds of joyous bliss,
Basked in the currents of your lips.

I fear I've lost who I am,
Taste from the waters that belong to another.
Shaken I no longer stand,
Connection I've never felt from another lover.

Questions lay deep within me,
In you I have found the answers.
A love that could never be,
Is my beautiful disaster.
