Poetry: Now That You're Gone

Words unspoken between us,
A thousand words per silent moment.
Sometimes every effort is not enough,
As the sands of time leave us stale and broken.

In a straight jacket drowning in your absence,
I helplessly sink to the depths of sadness.
Life without you is life without life,
Color dull, food void of taste, fruit never ripe.

Tears flood my heart with internal screaming,
Unable to coherently regain my composure.
Fear of the unknown as I watch you leaving,
Tangled are the roads that now pave my closure.

Faith in tomorrow, the glue that holds today together,
Shipwrecked on your questions we are forever severed.
Omnipotent we are not to know your truest fears,
Omni-patient I have been in the name of keeping you near.

I am left with silence to accompany my misery,
The reality that you would never listen to me.
My heart worth more than the gold you spit on,
As I have nothing left to say now that your gone.

Poetry: Call Me Crazy

Life is pale, colors bleached from sight,
    Rain sounds dreary unlike before.
I am drenched in black daily.

My struggles fade, waning light,
Once I used to run through the door,
A time where my lips sang 'baby'.

When these moments were oh so bright,
Love, fountain where I wanted more,
      Where life appeared perfect, maybe.

Like a blown bulb no longer bright,
    Ocean with no poetic shore,
      Photo once beautiful now hazy.

Something that's tragic saps our might,
Loss of magic from days of yore,
Moments where you were forever my lady.

I close our book but hold it tight,
I don't know what I hold it for,
A dreamer or call me crazy.

Poetry: Disaster

Lost and confused I refuse to break,
Breathing has crawled to a painful sip.
Frost from this chill that makes me shake,
What have you done to leave me like this?

My soul taken by that fated kiss,
My world is sand as I lose my grip.
A flew through the clouds of joyous bliss,
Basked in the currents of your lips.

I fear I've lost who I am,
Taste from the waters that belong to another.
Shaken I no longer stand,
Connection I've never felt from another lover.

Questions lay deep within me,
In you I have found the answers.
A love that could never be,
Is my beautiful disaster.

Poetry: Beholder

In the eye of the beholder,
Is where I reside.
Void of color,
Undefined,
Black,
Wrapped,
Marked Within,
To the outer skin.
Elegance a better definition,
Unique and refined,
Artistic hypnosis,
Visual mystery,
Wantonly,
Beheld.
Free.
Twisted,
Collection of,
New age serene,
Perfected inflection,
Redefining your meaning,
What it is to be simply beautiful.

Poetry: Slave

My fire needs to be restrained,
Sexual hunter that thrives in captivity.
The pain that pleasures me is sane,
Addict to what I am subjected to willingly.

Spread my wings and leave me exposed,
Grant me the freedom of immobility.
Tighten the air out of my soul,
Fall in love with each strap placed perfectly.

Take my ecstasy with each hardened stroke,
Stifle my cries and every one of my pleas.
With each bated breath that you invoke,
I beg and plead for you to finish me.

My world trembles beneath your worship,
I am born again as you beg me to stand.
Master of this relationship,
As long as you obey my every command.
